Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 24th 2026

This policy explains how Yorkshire Calling (yorkshirecalling.com) uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They let the site remember things, such as your cookie choices or that you’re logged in, and help site owners understand how their site is used. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, work in a similar way, and this policy covers them too.

How we use cookies

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary without asking. Everything else is switched off until you give your consent in our cookie banner. UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, PECR) requires this.

Affiliate links and accommodation maps

Some of our hotel links and accommodation maps are provided by our affiliate partner Stay22. When you view a Stay22 map or click one of these links, Stay22 and the booking site you land on (such as Booking.com or Expedia) may set cookies to record that you came from Yorkshire Calling. This lets us earn a small commission if you book, at no extra cost to you. These cookies are covered by Stay22’s and the booking site’s own cookie policies. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more.

Embedded content

Some articles include content from other websites, such as maps, videos or social media posts. These sites may set their own cookies when you view or interact with the content. Where possible, we load this content only after you’ve given consent.
